Color Study - Henriette

One of my biggest artistic fears is color.
I hid behind black and white drawings for years with the justification of being primarily a character designer and illustrator for children but I wasn't completely honest.
That's why I decided to start practicing with color, shadows and highlights.
"Henriette", represents my first real attempt to overcome this fear and learn from scratch the art of digital painting.
And I'll go further in my research even if it will take time, effort and will sometimes mean running into failures and disappointments.
